What this is
A long break, taken on purpose.
Not quitting forever. Not a program. Not rehab. A long break from weed, for your own reasons, for as long as you decide.
How it ends is yours to choose. Moderate, quit, or reset and go again. Nobody here is going to tell you which one is the real answer.
Why there’s no face on this.
Because it isn’t about me. It’s about the room. I wrote fourteen months of this down while failing at it over and over, and that writing is the whole thing — you can read every word of it for free, right now, without an account. I just do it anonymously, because I’d rather the writing carry it than my name.
That’s the credential. Not a photo, not a certificate, not a story about how I fixed myself and now sell the method — I’m still in it with you.
Where this started.
This wasn’t a business plan. It started as a few lines in my own journal, in the middle of a relapse — the fourth time I’d caved that day:
I had a new idea, something fulfilling worth doing. Leading a community of people trying to improve themselves by learning self control. A place for me to learn from others going through the same thing as me. There’s tons of people out there struggling with this battle alone. And alone we are weak, but together we can go far… I can’t practice what I don’t preach. I need to speak from experience, talk about my struggles and listen to others on their path too.
That’s the whole reason this exists. Not because I figured it out — because I hadn’t, and I needed the room as much as anyone.
What’s free.
The journal — all of it. The prompts. Everything anyone actually needs to take a long break is free and always will be, because a thing that paywalls the answer isn’t a community, it’s a toll booth.
Nothing is gated. You can take it all and never come back.
What costs money, and what doesn’t.
Later, there will be small guided cohorts — a group, a cadence, and a human. That costs money.
It buys structure, not information. There is nothing in a cohort that you can’t get for free here by reading and writing on your own. Some people do better with a room and a schedule. That’s the only thing being sold.
You will never be pitched inside the free space. No DMs, no upsells, no “unlock the real program”. The door is here if you want it.
What this isn’t.
This is peer support and lived experience. It is not therapy and it is not medical advice, and nobody here is a clinician.
Some things need a doctor, not a room full of people doing the same thing you are. If you’re throwing up and can’t stop, if you’re hearing or seeing things, if you’re also coming off alcohol or benzos — that last one can actually kill you, unlike weed — go and get real help. Nobody here will think less of you.
And if you’re having a bad night, you don’t have to earn the right to call someone. The numbers are at the bottom of every page.
